This training day was coordinated by the Citizen Protection Service of Albacete belonging to the Provincial Directorate of Public Administrations and Finance, and the collaboration of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development through its Prevention and Extinction Technician. of Forest Fires.
The objectives pursued by carrying out this course are: Provide the volunteer with general fire techniques and procedures, knowledge about the application of action protocols in vegetation fires, acquire the correct action techniques for extinguishing vegetation fires. (forestry, scrubland, stubble), collaborate with firefighting forces and specialized services, and master the techniques of attacking and extinguishing fires with vegetation.
These objectives are achieved through the presentations given by teachers whose content is based on: Specific equipment for fires with vegetation; access to fire; meteorological and topographic conditions; extinguishing systems; and organization of extinction.
In addition to the presentations, students carry out practical sessions in which they reinforce the contents.
